Half the world bleeds, what has happened to our recognition that this is our entry point, the gateway of creation, the way in which we come into existence? We may be lovers, mothers, daughters or nuns - we all bleed. How are we honoring this as a culture, as friends, as individuals, as women?

How are we honoring ourselves as woman and recognizing the cycles of our bodies? What are the practical measures of the feminine taking her seat? Of you taking yours, of I taking mine? How can we gather to start the language of becoming?

This gathering is dedicated to the spectrum of knowing the feminine.  I am so excited to celebrate the talents of these women, their creations, and their dedication to the intimacy of the mystery with you on October 8th.

October 8th, 6-9pm at Narnia (aka the Moon Temple), Brooklyn NY

Blood is in the Heart is a five day collaborative gathering at the Moon Temple, an experiential intensive featuring a book release, art opening, ongoing workshops, and an invitation to share space.

This project was originally conceived in gratitude to New York City as an offering and a venue to encourage the inner process of discovery. The spirit of the Divine Feminine fuels this experiment in fostering an intentional environment as participants in the present moment.

Please join us on the Full Moon Eclipse of October 8th from 6-9 pm for an opening reception, celebrating the sea of possibility with an art show. Included will be a debut book release by desert photographer Angela de la Agua, documenting her journey of prayer through sacred landscapes. Thirteen of her prints will also be on display. A performance of ritual word magic will be presented at will by Eve Ladyapples Bradford throughout the evening in the Beehive Temple. Further objects of contemplation will be shown in the archetypal womb room by artist Sonja Selenite, as well as weaving from Tehya Shea, photography from Kacie Tomita, video installation from Renata Chebel, and a video introduction to the elder Sweet Medicine Nation and her ceremony, the House of Flowers.

Workshops taking place in The Beehive Temple will be updated periodically, including morning meditations, an essential oil introduction, drumming, movement, and vocal toning. Molly, Angela, and Sonja will be present in the space for anyone who wishes to explore and unwind. We are interested in collaborating with anyone who responds to design various happenings for expression. Feel free to contact with any ideas for workshops, ceremonies, or activities as they come.

The Moon Temple will be available to the public from the evening of October 8th to the sunset of October 12th. We will be holding space from 12pm to 8pm each day, with additional hours being offered in the mornings and evenings as it is called for.
