Sweet Medicine is living a life in service. She has been carrying a vision to initiate through a ceremony called The House of Flowers. It is offered to those who share the call to understand what is greater than ourselves. As an initiate in both the Lakota and her native Choktaw traditions, she has been facilitating and participating in indigenous ceremonies for the last 45 years. As a teacher, she transmits her knowledge by helping others come into themselves, by providing the space to dial in to what has already been constellated many moons ago.
The House of Flowers is a rite of passage designed for women to reconnect to our innate sacredness. It is an experiential reawakening to the majesty all woman contain. With this process of remembering we are brought back to ourselves and to the responsibility of sharing our femininity in protection of the collective and our Mother. The earth is crying for us to tap in to this ancient knowledge, which our bodies have held all along.
We will be raising money throughout this event to support Sweet Medicines vision for building a yurt on here land in Oregon to continue her work.
Sweet Medicine will be visiting the North East this coming summer.
